Respect for your privacy is coded into our DNA. We aspire to build our Services with a set of strong privacy principles in mind.

Bistrochat provides messaging with restaurants and friends, restaurant loyalty programs, and other services to users around the world. Our Privacy Policy helps explain our information practices. For example, we talk about what information we collect and how this affects you.

When we say "Bistrochat," "our," "we," or "us," we're talking about Bistrochat Software Limited. This Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to all of our apps, services, features, software, hardware, and website (together, "Services") unless specified otherwise.

Information we collect

Bistrochat receives or collects information when we operate and provide our Services, including when you install, access, or use our Services.

Information you provide

Basic Account Data. You provide your mobile number and basic account data (which may include name, email address and profile picture) to create a Bistrochat account. To make it easier for your contacts and other people to reach you and recognize who you are, your name, and your profile picture (should you choose to set one) on Bistrochat are always public. Note that users who have you in their contacts will see you by the name they saved and not by your name. Your data, including your name, phone number, and email, can be used by restaurants where you book or participate in the loyalty program. Restaurants cannot see your data unless you book with them online, call for a booking, or join their loyalty program. To make the process smooth, they can access this information, independently from where you booked before using Bistrochat or an affiliate app. Additionally, you may be contacted by the restaurant for marketing purposes. If you'd like to delete your data you can simply contact us as stated in the "delete your bistrochat account" below. Bistrochat can delete your data from the users of the bistrochat app, bistrochat cannot and is not in charge of deleting your data from a restaurant you booked as they might store the data in their own CRM or Database. You can contact the restaurant to delete your data.

Email address. We use your email address to operate our Services in the following cases: should we need to contact you regarding your account activity, security or recovery, should you had any interaction with a restaurant with our Services.

Phone Number and Contacts. Bistrochat uses phone numbers as unique identifiers. We ask your permission before syncing your contacts. We store your up-to-date contacts in order to show you which of your contacts already use our Services and to let you message and interact with them within the perimeter of our Services. We only need the number and name (first and last) for this to work and store no other data about your contacts.

Automatically collected information

Usage and Log Information. We collect service-related, diagnostic, and performance information. This includes information about your activity (such as how you use our Services, how you interact with others using our Services, and the like), log files, and diagnostic, crash, and performance logs and reports.

Device and Connection Information. e collect device-specific information when you install, access, or use our Services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, mobile network information including phone number, and device identifiers. We collect device location information if you use our location features, such as when you view

restaurants locations nearby, and the like, and for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes such as if you are having trouble with our app's location features.

Third-Party Services. We allow you to use our Services in connection with third-party services. If you use our Services with such third-party services, we may receive information about you from them; for example, if you choose to sign up to our Services with Facebook. Please note that when you use third-party services, their own terms and privacy policies will govern your use of those services.

Third-Party information

Usage and Log Information. We receive information other people provide us, which may include information about you. For example, when other users you know use our Services, they may provide your phone number from their mobile address book (just as you may provide theirs), or they may send you a message, or send messages to groups to which you belong.

Third-Party Providers. We work with third-party providers to help us operate, provide, improve, understand, customize, support, and market our Services. For example, we work with companies to distribute our apps, provide our infrastructure, delivery, and other s systems, supply map and places information, help us understand how people use our Services, and marketer Services. These providers may provide us information about you in certain circumstances; for example, app stores may provide us reports to help us diagnose and fix service issues

Third-Party Services. We allow you to use our Services in connection with third-party services. If you use our Services with such third-party services, we may receive information about you from them; for example, if you choose to sign up to our Services with Facebook. Please note that when you use third-party services, their own terms and privacy policies will govern your use of those services.

How we use information

Our Services. We operate and provide our Services, including providing customer support, and improving, fixing, and customizing our Services. We understand how people use our Services, and analyze and use the information we have to evaluate and improve our Services, research, develop, and test new services and features, and conduct troubleshooting

activities. We also use your information to respond to you when you contact us.

Safety and Security. We verify accounts and activity, and promote safety and security on and off our Services, such as by investigating suspicious activity.

Spam and Abuse. To prevent phishing, spam and other kinds of abuse and violations of Bistrochat's Terms of Service, our moderators may check messages that were reported to them by their recipients. If a spam report on a message you sent is confirmed by our moderators, your ac count may be limited from contacting strangers – temporarily or permanently. You can send an appeal at appeal@bistrochat.com . In case of more serious violations, your account may be banned. We may also use automated algorithms to analyze messages in cloud chats to stop spam and phishing.

Retention. Unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, the personal data that you provide us will only be stored for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations in respect of the provision of the Services.

Managing your information

If you would like to manage, change, limit, or delete your information, we allow you to do that through the following tools:

Changing Your Mobile Phone Number, Profile Name and Picture, and Email Address. Changing Your Mobile Phone Number, Profile Name and Picture, and Email Address. You must change your mobile phone number using our in-app change number feature an d transfer your account to your new mobile phone number. You can also change your profile name, profile picture, and email address at any time.

Deleting your Bistrochat account. You may delete your Bistrochat account at any time. You can do this by messaging the support within our Services, or by sending a deletion request to bye@bistrochat.com

Law and protection

We may collect, use, preserve, and share your information if we have a good-faith belief that it is reasonably necessary to: (a) respond pursuant to applicable law or regulations, to legal process, or to government requests; (b) enforce our Terms and any other applicable terms and policies, including for investigations of potential violations; (c) detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud and other illegal activity, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, and safety of our users, Bistrochat, or others.
